Inspired by a small carving in All Saints Church porch of a mermaid, the river Stiffkey and Warham Iron Age hill fort down stream from Wighton, I am creating a piece imagining the sea level rising, flooding the valley.
It will include a bass relief and an embroidered map of the river valley.
The exhibition, curated by Chris Bailkoski, will be open from 1st July – 3rd August at All Saints Church 26 Kirkgate Lane, Wighton, Norfolk NR 32 1PL.
